These scraps and studio residue,
All but abandoned, yet not given up on,
Like the three-week-old leftovers you still plan on eating,
Their siren song sifting softly through the canyons of parmesan rinds
Aspiring towards stock
This lingering refuse, congealed and coalesced
Into its new-found corpus of solid rejectamenta.
Waste not, want not.
